Many visitors are interested in knowing how the residents get along in the colder climate. Since D.E.W. Animal Kingdom is closed for the winter season we thought you would enjoy seeing some of the residents during our colder months. We are closed to the public during this time while continuing our work with the residents. Many of the residents are moved to their heated habitats. Many of the animals are used to Maine winters and some of the animals come from climates that are colder than Maine.
